Jaban’s Roadmap to Health

  1. Be in a safe place:

    • Create a physical and emotional environment that promotes overall well-being. This may include factors such as safety from physical harm, emotional stability, environmental toxins, and a generally supportive atmosphere.

  2. Feel safe:

    • Emotional well-being is crucial for your health. Feeling safe emotionally can reduce stress and anxiety, which are known to have negative effects on health - we call this ‘nervous system regulation.’

  3. Support mitochondria:

    • Mitochondria are the energy-producing organelles within cells. Supporting them involves maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet, regular exercise, and proper sleep, as these factors play a role in mitochondrial function. Because being chronically ill can make you unable to maintain these factors, we will take small steps to boost your mitochondrial health such as: increasing vitamin and mineral intake, giving your body energizing nutrients, cellularly hydrating, and ‘opening drainage pathways.’

  4. Support drainage:

    • This refers to supporting the body's natural processes of eliminating waste and toxins. Adequate hydration, a healthy diet, supplementation, lymphatic drainage, etc. contribute to effective drainage mechanisms in the body.

  5. Clear detox pathways:

    • Detoxification pathways involve organs and systems like the colon, liver, kidneys, lymphatic system, and skin. Ensuring these organs function optimally aid in the effective removal of toxins from the body. This step is crucial prior to detoxifying.

  6. Detox:

    • Detoxification is a process that aims to eliminate or neutralize toxins in the body. This can be achieved through various methods, including dietary changes, fasting, or specific detox programs. It's essential to approach detoxification with caution and under professional guidance.

  7. Rebuild:

    • After detoxification, the body may need support in rebuilding and repairing tissues. This involves providing the necessary nutrients through a balanced diet, supplements if needed, and appropriate physical activity.

  8. Maintenance:

    • Maintaining good health involves adopting long-term habits that support well-being. This includes a healthy diet, regular exercise, stress management, sufficient sleep, and maintenance protocols.
