Ehrlichia

Ehrlichia, ranking as the third most prevalent co-infection linked to Lyme disease, is a bacterium that infiltrates and resides within white blood cells. Its hosts span a broad spectrum, including humans, pets such as dogs and goats, and various wild animals. Interestingly, the veterinary field possesses more extensive information on Ehrlichia compared to human medicine. Veterinarians assert that ehrlichiosis can manifest as a chronic condition, a perspective not entirely acknowledged in human medicine, where the infection is typically characterized as acute.

Vibrant Wellness’ Tickborne 2.0 Panel:

Similar to Lyme disease, Ehrlichia has a knack for hiding, making testing less than foolproof. When testing is wanted or needed, I recommend opting for the Tickborne 2.0 Panel by Vibrant Wellness.

Vibrant Wellness' Tickborne 2.0 Panel stands out as the inaugural test conducted on a silicon micro-array platform, offering unparalleled specificity and sensitivity in the industry for identifying tickborne diseases.

In the United States, prevalent tickborne diseases encompass Anaplasmosis, Babesiosis, Bartonella infections, Ehrlichiosis, Rickettsiosis, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and Lyme disease.

A blood sample is required for the test. Fasting is not required.
