Full moon cleanse
Why Is The Full Moon Relevant?
Everything in nature has cycles. One of these cycles is the full moon. The full moon plays a huge role in parasite cleansing because it is when parasites reproduce and are highly active.
Our circadian rhythm is also affected by the full moon cycle, making our body produce more serotonin and less melatonin. Melatonin is the neurotransmitter that helps you sleep and helps control your immune system. With lower levels of melatonin, your immune system does not fend off parasites as well. Parasites love serotonin as it stimulates muscles and allows them to move about more freely in your body. It also helps them to reproduce and get stronger as it increases their ability to feed. Another way they use serotonin is to communicate with each other and to create biofilms in your body so that they can evade the host’s immune system. This combination of less melatonin and more serotonin is the perfect combination for parasites to cause issues. If you have a heavy parasitic infection load, you may feel unwell around the week of the full moon.
What symptoms are associated with parasites?
Any of the following symptoms may indicate a parasite issue: feeling depressed, feeling anxious, craving sugar, unable to sleep, having increased levels of pain in your body, having any GI issues such as diarrhea, constipation, or bloating, having general weakness and fatigue, or grinding one’s teeth.
How does The Full Moon Kit work?
The full moon kit is designed to “clean house” by taking advantage of the increase in activity in a way that draws parasites out of the body through one’s stool. The supplements in this kit were designed to scrub the intestinal walls and target the parasites using herbals in a way that helps kill and eliminate parasites that might otherwise be a little harder to pass during other moon phases.
What is included in The Full Moon Kit?
Para 1: Consists of Mimosa Pudica Seed, which becomes a gelatinous, sticky gut scrubber when combined with water. It deep cleans the intestinal tract by pulling out toxins, heavy metals, biofilms, and other unwanted elements. To see how it does this, click here.
Para 2: This is a multi-herb blend specifically designed for powerful immune and digestive support. These herbs and BioActive Carbons create a potent, yet tolerable solution to target pathogens.
Para 3: This herbal combination, which comes in a tincture form, works on many pathogens as well.
Biotoxin Binder: This works systemically, not just in the gut. It binds to and helps remove biological toxins, such as any die-off toxins from parasites.
What are the guidelines for The Full Moon Kit?
Make sure all detox and drainage pathways are open. Beware that parasite cleansing can cause some constipation, so making sure you are using the bathroom regularly is crucial. Coffee enemas are highly recommended when parasite cleansing as well. Choose your dosing challenge based on what your practitioner has selected for you. There are 3 different challenges. Listen to your body. You may want to lower doses if you feel the products are too intense, especially Para 3.
Beginner Schedule:
This is a 3 day challenge. You take the supplements a day before the full moon, the day of the full moon and a day after.
Dosage (see infographic above for time of day to take):
2 capsules twice a day of Para 1 and Para 2 on an empty stomach with water
10 drops 3X a day of Para 3 (or whatever your practitioner has said as some may need to start with less and work their way up)
1 capsule 3X a day of BioToxin Binder.
Intermediate Schedule:
This is a 5 day challenge. You take supplements 2 days before the full moon, the day of the full moon, and 2 days after.
Dosage (see infographic above for time of day to take):
4 capsules twice a day of Para1 and Para 2 on an empty stomach with water
20 drops 3X a day of Para 3 (or whatever your practitioner has said as some may need to start with less and work their way up)
2 capsules 3X a day of BioToxin Binder.
Advanced Schedule:
This is a 7 day challenge. You take supplements 3 days before full moon, the day of full moon, and 3 days after.
Dosage: (see infographic above for time of day to take):
6 caps twice a day of Para 1 and Para 2 on an empty stomach with water
40 drops 3X a day of Para 3 (or whatever your practitioner has said as some may need to start with less and work their way up)
4 caps 3X a day of BioToxin Binder.
Please note:
The intermediate and advanced challenges are not recommended for anyone who is brand new to parasite cleansing. Jumping into high doses may cause strong herx reactions. Your body may not be able to clear out the die-off from your drainage pathways quickly enough. This can lead to a back up of toxins which will increase your symptoms. You need to get a few months of parasite cleansing under your belt before engaging in the intermediate and advanced challenges.

TYPES OF REACTIONS THAT MAY CAUSE A FLARE-UP:
Detox Reaction
Die-Off Reaction
Herxheimer Reaction (“Herx”)
DETOX REACTION:
A detox reaction can occur when you are utilizing detox therapies, supplements, or are supporting your body’s natural detoxifying abilities. Opening drainage pathways during the beginning of a protocol may cause a detox reaction. It is almost like opening the floodgates after years of having a stagnant drainage system. It’s necessary, but can be uncomfortable at first. If this is the case, slow down on supplementation.
Detox reactions may also occur when taking too much detoxification support. If the body cannot keep up with a detoxification protocol, it may react. Using detoxification supplements, such as binders (HM-ET, Biotoxin Binder, etc.) or herbals, are often the culprits of a detox reaction. Going slower with your detox protocol as needed will ease detox reaction symptoms.
DIE-OFF REACTION / HERXHEIMER REACTION:
If you’re on an antimicrobial supplement and symptoms flare up as you build up your tolerance or dosage (and if they continue the longer you are on it), then you are likely not doing enough drainage, binding, and detox work to eliminate the pathogens and pathogenic byproducts that are being killed/released. This is also referred to as a "herx" reaction. Many people experience undesirable symptoms when their body is clearing pathogens. This is a fairly normal part of the process, but there are steps that can be taken to help you manage!
If you are on a detox protocol with supplements such as Cellcore products, Para 1, 2 or 3, you can add more supportive detox support supplements such as binders, TUDCA, KL-Support, Lymph Activ, and/or increase the dosage as the practitioner recommends.
Other supportive detox tools include: rebounding, coffee enemas, castor oil packs, dry brushing, infrared sauna, epsom salt baths, and drinking plenty of water. The more these tools are utilized, the more you will help ease out of a die-off reaction.
However, sometimes overdoing these tools can cause too much detox as well. Binders may be used to help grab any toxins that are being mobilized when using these tools. If using these tools is making die-off symptoms worse, back off. Certain external therapies can liberate a lot of toxins at once, contributing to flares.
A great example is coffee enemas, which can cause the gallbladder to purge. The gallbladder is a hotspot for stored toxins. For some people, liberating all of these toxins in the gallbladder can cause reactions like nausea, digestive upset and headaches. There is a balance between supporting drainage and also managing the speed at which we remove toxins. This will be different for each person, and we would love to help you find your balance!
NERVOUS SYSTEM CONSIDERATIONS:
Incorporating practices to calm the nervous system is another tool that can be very helpful in managing flare ups! Sometimes when the nervous system is already taxed, starting a protocol can aggravate it further. This is a common problem for those with a history of trauma or mold exposure. It may lead to symptoms like a buzzing feeling, trouble sleeping, anxiety, trouble digesting, fatigue, or increased food reactivity. We like to incorporate things like EFT tapping, breathwork, binaural beats, prayer and meditation, and walks in nature to help calm your body and brain. This can help you to be more resilient towards stressors and toxins.
The key is to strive for a balance of killing, binding, and eliminating in a way that makes symptoms manageable while also continuing to lower your toxic load and eradicate pathogens. If you are experiencing moderate flares during your protocols, stay encouraged- many people have some level of increased discomfort on their way to feeling better. This will pass, and we’re here for you every step of the way.

Pulsing Method
The Pulse method is a build up that Dr.Jaban discovered for titrating up his most sensitive clients.
Start with the full dose of the antimicrobial or detox supplement. Then take the suggested number of days off decreasing in the number of days off each dose.
For example If Para 3 was recommended at 30 drops 3 times per day for 30 days using the pulse method beginning with a 5 day pulse: Day 1 take 30 drops 3 times then take 5 days off. Repeat the full dose then take 4 days off, Repeat full dose then take 3 days off, Repeat full dose then take 2 days off, Repeat the full dose then take 1 day off, then repeat the full dose for 30 consecutive days.
Testing Guides
Mycotox profile
The MycoTOX profile from is great for detecting mycotoxins in urine. It may be more effective when using provoking agents such as glutathione, infrared sauna about 12 hours before testing, and exercise/rebounding the day of collection - especially for those with a previous mold exposure as opposed to a current exposure. While an OAT test may show signs of intestinal fungus, it won’t sufficiently detect mycotoxin poisoning in the way that the mycotox profile test can. The MycoTox test from Great Plains Laboratory analyzes for the presence of 11 different mycotoxins that can come from 40 different species of mold.
If your results come back with a high level of a certain mycotoxin, we can then try to determine if it is coming from an external environmental exposure like mold growth in a home or workplace, if it is from an internal colonization of opportunistic mold like Aspergillus (the OAT helps determine this), or if it is being consumed from food sources. Check out our article series on mold and mycotoxins for more information about the individual types of mold and how they can impact the body. Most types of mold cannot grow directly in the body, however, inhaling or ingesting their toxic byproducts, known as mycotoxins, can cause a range of issues such as:
Inflammation
Fatigue
CIRS
CFS
Liver or kidney failure
Digestive problems
Endocrine disruption
Seasonal allergies
If you believe you have been exposed to mold or it may be an underlying factor in your chronic health issues, this is a great test to run! Rarely, the test results come back showing no presence of mycotoxins, although a person may be chronically ill. In these cases, the body is usually not capable of detoxifying the mycotoxins, so they are stored in the body where they are causing constant inflammation and destruction. It is recommended to use liposomal glutathione or an infrared sauna before taking the sample to help the tissues release mycotoxins. It is best to run this test before and after, so you can see if a treatment is working, as you would expect to see the levels rise, then begin to drop after a successful treatment.
Organic Acids Test (OAT)
The Organic Acids Test (OAT) can detect the following:
intestinal bacteria and yeast
mitochondrial function
nutrient & hormone metabolism
neurotransmitter levels
central nervous system function
antioxidant & nutrient deficiencies
fatty acid metabolism
oxalate levels
The Organic Acid Test includes 76 different markers that measure metabolites from fungus like yeast and mold, bacteria like Clostridia, neurotransmitter balance, mitochondrial health, fat, carbohydrate, and protein metabolism, nutrient status, and toxic exposure. The results of this test creates a snapshot of a person’s overall metabolic function. One benefit of measuring the urine versus the blood for these markers is that the metabolites are found at nearly 100 times the concentration in the urine that they are in the bloodstream, so urine is useful for more accurate detection. In addition to affecting the body, many of these markers have an influence on mood and cognition. The OAT is our flagship test, and is the best place to get started as an initial screening for chronically ill people, to find a starting point of what to address and what could be causing your symptoms. If you have fungal markers showing up, it could be valuable to run a MycoTox test. If you have mitochondrial dysfunction and toxic exposure, running the EnviroTox panel may be useful.
The OAT uses urine to assess many different toxins and body processes. Advanced mass spectrometry (MS/MS) is used to detect lower levels of genetic, mitochondrial, and toxic chemical markers that conventional mass spectrometry often misses.
They have a series of tests available, all of which can be run off of the same urine sample. In our clinic, we most frequently use the Organic Acid Test (OAT), MycoTox panel, and the EnviroTox panel. Testing the blood for metabolic markers is great but only shows us one part of the bigger picture. Blood maintains very strict ranges of different substances, otherwise you could die! Using the urine and hair can give us insights into what is happening in areas of the body that are not as critical to staying alive as the blood. Each different type of testing has its own strengths and weaknesses, so combining all of them allows each test to validate the others and provide clinical insights into how and what we need to address to bring you back to optimal health!
Another measurement on the OAT is oxalates. This term is unknown to many people, but can have far reaching health impacts. Oxalates are substances that are found both in certain types of food and produced by certain types of fungus. These oxalates can cause kidney stones, tear up the gut, decrease mineral absorption, and lead to joint pain. Common oxalate containing foods include leafy greens like spinach and kale, nuts like almonds, and even chocolate. Many people doing the green smoothie craze are unknowingly consuming huge amounts of oxalates. If someone is consuming a high oxalate diet in tandem with having high levels of fungus colonizing their G.I. tract, this can spell disaster for their health. Luckily, the OAT helps us identify these things so that they can be addressed with a proper protocol, including anti-fungal supplements and a low-oxalate diet.
Hair, Tissue, and Mineral Analysis (HTMA)
The Hair, Tissue, and Mineral Analysis (HTMA) test is a non-invasive test that can be done at home by simply cutting a small lock of hair, sending it in, and then having a practitioner interpret your results. The HTMA assesses the levels of elements like electrolytes, essential minerals, and heavy metals that are deposited in the hair. Why hair? The hair acts as a "traffic counter,” picking up minerals as they float by in the bloodstream. This assessment is different from a blood draw, as the blood changes constantly to maintain homeostasis (ie: a slight change in blood pH can result in death). Blood values can change on a day to day basis, and by the time an issue shows up in the blood, it has likely been impacting the body for a long time. With an HTMA, one inch of hair taken from the base of the scalp represents approximately 3 months’ worth of metabolic activity, giving us an overview snapshot of what is going on the body. The sample is cut from the root of the hair, keeping only the first inch and discarding the rest. Running an HTMA can show potential future health problems months to years before the symptoms manifest and blood values reflect it, allowing a person to avoid hitting rock bottom later on! The HTMA gives us a long-term overview of what is happening in different areas of your health such as blood sugar regulation, emotional and physical stress coping capacity, inflammation, infection, adrenal, thyroid, kidney, heart, and liver function, antioxidant capacity, heavy metal load, uranium/radon exposure, psychological stability, and more.
Unlike hair, blood is a short-term indicator of what is happening at that exact moment in time. The results from the HTMA pair well with comprehensive blood panels that include CMP, CBC, thyroid panel, iron panel, and inflammatory markers to help see both long-term and short-term health trends reflected in your lab work. Pairing these two tests allows a skilled practitioner to develop a more individualized protocol with targeted suggestions to help resolve your underlying health issues!
